ELTIM Linear Voltage regulator modules

VR-modules,        Linear, symmetrical voltage regulator modules

These VR-modules (Voltage Regulator) modules are basically menat to feed our VS-moudles in our amplifiere designs.
However, if you require s symmetrical, regulated voltage elsewhere, you also could use them.





  • Based on common used 78xx and 79xx TO220 Voltage regulator IC's.
  • Available in ±5V, ±6V, ±8V, ±10V, ±12V, ±15V and ±24V.
  • ±1A output max. and depending on Vdiff.
  • Fits on about all ELTIM power supply modules.






  • Based on  SMD LM317/337 TO253-3 cased linear regulating IC's.  
  • 0,5A output current max. depending on Vdiff.
  • Fits on about all ELTIM power supply modules.

The dynamic behaviour is far better than the 78xx/79xx series show!
All protective parts as recommendend in the datasheet are mounted.
Due to the "floating" characteristics of LM317/337,
you can even regulate high voltages. Only thing to remember
is that the difference in voltage is < 37V.

Everybody else states that LM317/337 can handle/regulate 37V tops.
Wrong! Due the "floating" (not connected to ground) characteristics
of LM317/337, you can even regulate high (tube) voltages as long as
Vin - Vout  < 37V. Something completely different!
