The attenuation/gain is regulated by a quality IC.

  •    THAT2162 Voltage Controlled Amplifier  SMD IC.
  •    Current driven output buffer (dual opamp IC).
  •    Even a Burson Dual fits !
  •    Controlled by a 0-5Vdc signal (gain -80 / +10dB) or
  •    Option: Digital SPI data (gain -80 / +40dB, 8 bit, 256 steps).
  •     -80 - +40mV output > digital -80.0 - 40.0dB reading 200mV meter.
  •    Fits directly on all our preamplifier designs, transferring them from a     passive preamp to an active one.






VCA-2180   VCA volume control/buffer circuit, -90 / +30dB in 1024 steps

The attenuation/gain is regulated by two high quality IC's.

  •    Two THAT2180 Voltage Controlled Amplifier SIL IC's .
  •    Current driven output buffers (dual opamp IC).
  •    Even a Burson Dual fits !
  •    Controlled by a 0-5Vdc signal ( gain -90 / +12dB) or
  •    Option: Digital SPI data (gain -90 / +30dB. 10 bit, 1024 steps).
  •   -90 - +30mV output > digital -90.0 - 30.0dB reading 200mV meter.
  •    Fits directly on all our preamplifier designs, transferring them from a     passive preamp to an active one.




VCA-2181    VCA volume control/buffer circuit, -90 / +30dB in 4096 steps

The attenuation/gain is regulated by two special quality IC's.

  •    2x THAT2181 Voltage Controlled Amplifier SMD IC's (back side).
  •    Dual current driven output buffer IC's.
  •    Even Burson single's fits !
  •    Controlled by a 0-5Vdc signal (gain -90 / +12dB) or
  •    Option: Digital SPI data (gain -90 / +30dB, 12 bit, 4096 steps).
  •    -90 - +30mV output > digital -90.0 - 30.0dB reading 200mV meter.
  •    Fits directly on all our preamplifier designs, transferring them from a     passive preamp to an active one.
