ELTIM PS-0, Power Supply kit, 100x35x10mm

Several DIY'ers connect our VS/CS power amplifiers to a regular power supply with just three leads, V+, GND and V-. Unfortunatelly we have seen some cases where the wiring to our modules was incomplete and/or insufficient, causing all kinds of problems. F.e we use 12x 3A header pins to supply them. If you then connect only two of them it all doesn't work as planned of course. Also, some forget to connect some ground pins causing all kids of failures. In order to prevent this mishap we made the PS-0 connection module as listed below, making all the required connections to our VS/CS-module combination.

Now you can connect a "foreign" power supply to our VS/CS-module combination without experiencing problems due to incomplete wiring. All connections are made as they should be connected. We also adde two quality fuse holders and MKP capacitors.

Please do yourself and us a favoour and don't use an old linear supply (parts) because electrolytic capacitors age. After about 10 years (used or not!) they degrade very fast.

Also, cheap Switched Mode supplies don't meet the quality of our amplifier modules and this SMTP will be by far the weakest chain. You would be dissapointed in the sound reproduction and us.....
