ELTIM Preamplifier main boards
Our preamplifier modules are made in a way that you can start with the basic configuration as a so called "passive" preamplifier. Later (or immediatelly) you can expand it if you like with an active volume control module making it an active preamplifier, in/output buffer modules and a regulated power supply for even better sound. You can also connect a second (power amp) transformer to it and a headphone amplifier, like our PA-4989, which looks very simple but astonishes everybody with extreme good sound.
PRE-230 Preamplifier design with 3 inputs / 2 outputs, 210mm wide:
This High-End preamplifier is a small "all in one" module, meant for 230mm wide cabinets:
- Integrated symmetrical +/-10V power supply (regular of toroidal trafo by choice)
- Netfilter 0,6A on board
- Location for optional symmetrical voltage regulator board
- PCB mounted RCA (RJ152G) in/out connectors can be mounted directly on the board
- IN/OUT buffer modules, line or balanced can be mounted instead
- Electronic switching circuit by relays with silver plated contacts
- Three inputs
- Two outputs, 1=internally, 2 = externally
- Output 2 can be muted by a relay.
- The volume (Attenuation/gain) can be controlled by
- Optional MM/MC pre-preamplifier parts can be mounted (standard on + version)
- a stereo logarithmic volume potentiometer (passive preamp) or
- an optional Voltage Controlled Amplifier (VCA, active preamp) module.
- Standard it suits an MM cartridge 2mV/47k.
- Optional we can mount 4x HEX rotary switches at bottom side,
providing all sensitivities and impedances for MM and MC.
- One of our symmetrical voltage regulator modules can be mounted.
- Extra connections for on/off switch, (switched) power amp transformer and other electronics.
- Fits exactly in any MODU Galaxy 230x170mm (or deeper/larger) cabinet.
- I.c.w. a VCA module also a digital dB reading (200mV module) can be mounted.
One of our SB-frontpanel modules can be mounted where volume potmeter, selector rotary switch, light dim and mute OUT 2 switch are mounted. Then there is no wiring required.
PRE-330 Preamplifier design with 6 inputs / 2 outputs and meant to be used in 330mm wide "midi" cabinets. This High-End preamplifier module is an "all in one" module:

- Integrated symmetrical +/-10V power supply (regular of toroidal trafo by choise)
