Unlike many amplifier modules on the market today, we did not try to make our modules as cheap as possible,
but as good as possible instead. At the same time we also didn't try to make them as small as possible,
since in about every cabinet is way enough space. Due to all this it becomes less hot, sounds better and
the life expectance is at least 20 years, good for you and our environment.
An ELTIM amplifier is at least based on a VS-input stage module and a CS-output stage module,
so you nee both. Below we list our VS-Voltage Stage (input) modules.
VS-modules (Voltage Stage) transform the line input signal into signals capable of driving any CS-(Current Stage) module.
Below we list our VS-modules where the input signal is connected.
They can be L-mounted or sandwiched where a lower height is preferred.

VS-5 Compact input stage with SMD transistors
- Central positioned SMD transistors in the input stage.
- Extremely stable, wide range Current regulator diodes.
- Input capacitor can be bypassed by solder pads.
- WIMA MKP capacitors in local feedback circuit.
- MKP 400V input capacitor fits.
- 1% Metal Oxide Resistors (MOX) in all positions.
- L-mounted to any CS-board, S- mounted on CS-35 reccommended.
- Matches width of CS-35(ps) modules (149mm).
- 2x 18um copper FR4+ PCB, EU made.
- Runs over 250kHz (-3dB), -3º shift @ 15kHz.
- Supply voltage ±25-35Vdc (higher voltage VR-module required!).

VS-10 "basic" input stage with SMD transistors
- PCB can be assembled with input left or right.
- PCB can be assembled for L-mount or sandwich mount.
- Regular SMD mirrored input transistors (backside).
- Mounted within 1cm², avoiding temperature drift.
- Double sided EU made PCB, 2x18um copper.
- Standard TO-126 BJT driving transistors.
- WIMA MKP capacitors in local feedback circuit.
- MKP 400V input capacitor fits.
- 1% Metal Oxide Resistors (MOX) in all positions.
- INac and INdc inputs left OR right.
- Completely separated input and supply ground.
- 2x 18um copper FR4+ PCB, EU made.
- Runs over 350kHz (-3dB), -3º shift @ 18kHz.
- Supply voltage ±25-35Vdc (higher voltage VR-module required!).

VS-20 High-end input stage with matched transistor array
- PCB can be assembled for L-mount or sandwich mount.
- THAT340S symmetrical transistor array (so not an opamp!) in the input mirror circuits.
- 2x NPN and 2x PNP are matched within 500uV.
- IC substrate is grounded, as well as all unused copper at both sides, so a totally silent input stage.
- Epitaxial SMD driving transistors.
- Mica 1% capacitors in local feedback and input circuit.
- 1% Metal Oxide Resistors (MOX) in all positions.
- INac and INdc inputs left or right, depending assembly.
- MKP 400V or MUNDORF EVO (25mm) input capacitor fits.
- Completely separated input- and supply ground.
- Double sided FR4+ PCB, 2x35um copper, EU made.
- Runs over 500kHz (-3dB), -3º shift @ 20kHz.
- Supply voltage ±25-35Vdc (higher voltage VR-module required!).

The VS-modules below are not only input modules; they also are mechanical supports for long
(50mm up) supply capacitors mounted on our PS-2 or PS-3 Power Supply modules.

VS-30 High-end input stage
- Mechanically supporting long supply capacitors
- Supports 50mm and up long capacitors.
- Same as VS-20, yet extended length with
- 4x Ø30mm holes matching locations/size of

VS-30/35/40 surround the large capacitors on PS-2/3, providing mechanical stability.

- 1% Metal Oxide Resistors (MOX) in all positions.
- Optional: VISHAY/DALE 1% RN60D resistors in all positions.
- INac and INdc inputs left or right, depending on assembly.
- MKP 630V up to Ø20x42mm axial input capacitor fit.
- MUNDORF EVO (up to Ø36mm) input capacitor fits radial.
- Runs over 500kHz (-3dB), -3º shift @ 22kHz.
- Integrated LM317/337 supply regulator IC's.
- Supply voltage ±32-67Vdc (higher voltage VR-module required!).
